Many in the science world have come to the conclusion that the fruit started spreading by simply going out to sea. Indeed, the coconut has been found to be a magnificent floater, and one scientific paper has claimed that the nuts can travel 110 days or 3,000 miles by sea and still be able to germinate.

The Coconut theology was an attempt by the Tongan Methodist minister Sione 'Amanaki Havea to create a contextual theology that spoke to the specific experience and context of Pacific Island or Oceanic culture. Using the coconut to point to certain theological themes, such as the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and God's action in the world. Though it has not been widely embraced by Oceanic churches, it marks the first significant attempt towards a Pacific theology.

According to the Indian culture coconut represents the Hindu trinity of Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the protector) and Mahesh (the destroyer). Hence, the significance. Devotees pay tribute to the three Gods by treating the coconut as an object of worship. Thus, they seek the blessings of the trinity which signifies as the three dotted holes of a coconut.

Coming down to Africa Nigeria precisely, coconut is a sacrificial symbol of breakthrough,life and death .Commonly used during sacrificial prayers and cleansings which are mostly done at the beach or river side. According to my spiritual insight Coconut signifies mystery of life , beginning and end , spiritual breakthrough. And are mostly practiced traditional priesthoods ,the Celestial gatherings and the cherubim.

To my understanding and beliefs the Coconut signifies the circle of life,the mystery of life and the Holy trinity which are the three person's in one God.

IT'S A BIG MYSTERY HOW WATER GOT IN COCONUT WHICH SOLVES THE MYSTERY OF LIFE AND THE EXISTENCE OF THE SPIRITUAL BEING "GOD".
