Why we Live 1: Why we are alive

Life. What is it exactly? What purpose does it serve and why do we bother with it. The search for the meaning of life is one that had driven many a man into many an abyss over many an age.

But it doesn’t actually need to be all that complicated. What happens in one place influences others through subtle forces. When one territory is polluted and corrupted it bleeds out into surrounding areas. So too do the lighthouses, the brighter their light the further the reach it will have. Territories are entities in their own right. They aim to persist- continued existence- in the place they are. They have a mental force, and emotional force and a spiritual force that is a reflection and manifestation of the creatures, entities and being it is comprised of. Each of these (existential, mental, emotional and spiritual) has a primary directive.

Existential- the directive of Persistence

The thing that exists wants to keep existing. At the most basic level this is survival but survival is basic and reactionary. It is the goal of the thing to assure its survival so it can step out of that reactive place into the responsive frame. Touch is the physical to physical communication but can be accomplished with non-physical bodies and fields (auric/ electro-magnetic).

Mental- the directive of Competency

The mind wants to be ’good’ at things. It wants to be effective and useful. When combined with the directives of empowerment and manifestation we get a soul level searching for communal progression. Telepathy is the mind to mind communication between two individuals.

Emotional- the directive of Empowerment

Our emotions seek power; to be empowered by others and to empower others. Feelings are the physical expression of the emotional system and empathy is the emotional communication that occur between two individuals.

Spiritual- the directive of Manifestation

Manifestation is the process of bringing our ambitions to fruition. When used in combination with competency and empowerment we encounter an ever growing and expanding communal awareness of ethical and moral utopianism. That sense of a ‘better’ tomorrow and a ‘better’ world for the next generation. Inspiration is the spirit to spirit direct communication. Intuition is the mental expression of the Spiritual system.

Life itself is therefore a pursuit of persistence, competency, empowerment and manifestation. The life cycle involves a beginning, a middle, an end and a return. The beginning involves the formation of the four attributed above; formation of a physical body, mental body, emotional body and a spiritual body. The middle involves the maturation of these four attributes. The end phase is a transformation-transition of these four attributes and the return phase is about uploading all you have accumulated across the four attributes and rebooting the system for the next aquisitional round. Like growth rings on a tree our akashic, crystalline, record is added to and expands a little further each time.

It is in the best interest of one entity to assist its neighbour. A corrupted neighbour in primitive survival mode is a danger to itself. Corruption seeps out, it can not ever be effectively contained- only prevented and corrected. When the neighbours are assisting each other all gain efficacy and  the territory as a whole advances. The greatest interference to the process is greed. When one territory decides that its wool is more valuable than the neighbours grain then a tug of war begins and each will need to start a survival reaction. If I need your grain, and you need my wool- it’s a mutually beneficial exchange- no need for money or value or trying to hold one’s self over the other.

Life is one great big chain of mutually beneficial exchanges, it is interactive. As a result, connectedness is a hidden need. It is not motivated by absence. When there is no food we get hungry, when there is no water we get thirsty… when there is no connectedness we get lonely. But loneliness creeps up on you. You don’t wake up in the morning and say “I am getting lonely- I need new connections” you could be depressed, demotivated or even demoralised for years before it occurs to you “maybe I am just lonely".

Since you are alive, here with us this day, put it to good use.

"a person will. Overestimate what they can do in a day... But will underestimate what can be done in a year'

Work out how much time you spend watching TV and reclaim that time. If you watch 4 hours a day reclaim a half hour every day this week. Reclaim another half hour a day the week after and keep going until you've weaned yourself off the TV. Find something that sparks your interest. That makes you happy or that helps accomplish one of the prime directives above. Teach yourself a sailor knot, read a chapter in a book, redo your budget so you can save for a holiday... Something for YOU. We can worry about what's really you and what's ego-you later.
