Transfer News: Everton in advanced talks to sign Psg midfielder

Everton and Psg are in advanced discussions for the transfer of idrissa gueye. Accordingto Fabrizio Romano, Everton are advanced talks to re-sign idrissa gueye from PSG, with the midfielder no more needed at the Ligue 1 side. The move could be a loan or a permanent transfer, which should be known in the coming days.

Idrissa gueye has had a good time at Paris since joining them from everton in the summer of the 2019/20 season, but is looking for a new club since the arrival of Luis Campos as the new sporting director of Psg, the Parisian club is undergoing several structural changes, which involves getting rid of players deemed surplus for the upcoming season.

Gueye spent three years at everton before signing for Psg. The 32-year old is keen on a move back to goodison park, as Frank Lampard remains desperate for experienced and quality midfielders ahead of the new season.

The Toffees will be hoping to seal the signing of gueye soon and then focus on other targets before the end of the transfer window
