MY QUEST AND VISIT 2

Episode 2

My days at home, are both good and bad.

But nevertheless, we give glory to God.

one of the things that made my days so wonderful were these -

One, my going to the Church, even if, I do not spend much time there, just as I do when I am in school.

Two, paying visit to some of my friends and spending time with them especially, Chika Bethel and Okonkwo Martins.  These friends, were so amazing.

Okonkwo Martins is an Altar Server like me and also her Vice President. He always spend time with me after Morning Masses, most at times, ten minutes and on some occasions, twenty minutes.

We discuss alot, some of the issues includes ASUU strike, boyfriend and girlfriend, things happening in the Church and others.

He would always tell me that, I don't always come out in the evening, when the Senior Altar Servers come Church and spend time together.

And I would explain to him, that at evening, I am always busy in the kitchen, preparing dinner for mum and others. Remember, I told that my mum is on special diet.

The only time I cook one meal in the evening, is if she instructs me to cook her meal for everyone in the family.

Although, we are not many at home; My mum, dad, cousin and I. But why I love home is that, I have learnt how to cook some meals that I have no idea of, such as; stews sauce, Nsala sauce, Pepper soup, and others.

I know, you must be laughing by now, when I mentioned Nsala sauce, in most places or cultures in Nigeria, especially in Akwa- ibom  and Calabar, it is called White soup.

I really learnt alot. With this, I can say that, my going home wasn't a mistake. I went home to perfect my cooking and also to learn more from the Chef, herself(My mum).

When I started going to the Church in the evening, was when my novena prayer started, so with that, I had time to discuss with Martins and other Senior Altar Servers, even as at that, he still kept his morning companionship sacrosanct.

My visit to Bethel, wasn't everyday, I do visit in the morning, after morning Masses and most occasions in the evenings especially on Saturdays.

But my Saturday's evening visit wasn't Everytime. The reason is because of her Mum.

I know what you might be thinking now, but that isn't the truth. The truth is that her Mum values my visit, and when she don't see me in a week in her house, she always ask after me.

The main reason, I don't always go to visit her, when her Mum is around, is that, she makes me to spend more than the time, I wanted to spend in her place.

Aha...! Aha....! E clear you now.

You see, don't be fast to Judge, until you have heard me out.

Bethel is such a lovely girl, I like her personality, because she is real. I would have dated her, but I don't want to be involve in any distance relationship again. My ex -girlfriend has taught me a lesson, which is, never to be in any distance relationship until i have known the person too well.

For me, I won't advice anyone be in any distance relationship. My fellow readers, 'Body no be firewood'. Because what is running through our veins is blood and water, and not holiness or spirituality.

From my discussion with her, I might say, she can be having feeling for me.

Hmmm...! No be me talk oooo...!

They were not the only friends I visited  or met, others includes Emmanuel, Michael, Raphael and others, some visited me, while I did the other.

But in all things, we give God the glory.
