Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 17) — President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. on Wednesday said he is leaned to broaden the condition of general wellbeing crisis because of COVID-19 for the rest of the year.
Marcos said lifting the highly sensitive situation, which is scheduled to go on until September 12, would refute the crisis use approval and empathetic unique licenses gave by the Food and Drug Administration for COVID-19 immunizations.
"Indeed, we were simply examining it with Usec. [Ma. Rosario] Vergeire. Kasi maraming mga binibigay sa global clinical local area kapag highly sensitive situation. WHO [World Health Organization] is one of them," Marcos told journalists in an opportunity interview.
[Interpretation: Yes, we were simply examining it with Usec. Vergeire. Since many supplies are given to the worldwide clinical local area when there is a highly sensitive situation. WHO is one of them.
"Kapag itigil natin yung highly sensitive situation, matitigil 'yun" he added. "In any case, we are taking a gander at correcting the law concerning obtainment and all of that, in a crisis, however that will take time.
